Rodrigo, new Deutsche Bank Chief Country Officer
Deutsche Bank has appointed a Sri Lankan, Rohan Rodrigo as its Chief Country Officer (CCO) in Sri Lanka, taking over from Stefan Mahrdt who served in this position for the past four years, and is relocating to a senior management position with Deutsche Bank in Vietnam.
The bank said Rodrigo will oversee all of Deutsche Bank’s local business lines and employees, and be the Bank’s liaison with Sri Lanka’s banking regulators and the central bank.
Rodrigo has been with Deutsche Bank since 1981, the year after the Bank began operations in Sri Lanka and for last 12 years served as Head of Global Markets – which, locally, includes management of the Bank’s sales and trading operations across foreign exchange, money markets, interest rate and credit products. |
