Drama and music at Tower Hall Theatre

Country's premier stage theatres, Elphinstone and Tower Hall will be occupied by a number of popular and variety events throughout the month of November. Handled by Tower Hall Theatre Foundation, at the Elphinstone theatre Maradana, Anura Dissanayake's stage play 'Mama Thawama Panapitin' will go on the boards on Sunday November 11 (today) at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka's annual music, dance and theatre show 'Neethi Ranga-2007' will be held from 1 pm to 9 pm. Veteran playwright and actor Jayalath Manoratne's 'Makara' will be staged on November 21 and 22 at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm. on November 28, R. R. Samarakoon's 'Kakul Hathare Ilandariya' will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm on November 28 while Jayaweera Dasanayake's 'Obathuma' will take place at 3 pm and 6 pm.

Meanwhile at Tower Hall theatre late musician Lionel Ranwela's 'Gama Awulannai' a musical event with traditional and indigenous music will take place at 6 pm on November 27. Edward Chandrasiri's 'Mamai Benai' will be staged on November 29 at 5 pm.
