Merry An Singers herald the season

December brings thoughts of Christmas -and what better way to begin than with a Service. The Merry An Singers will present a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols on December 1 at St.Andrew's Scots Kirk at 7.15 p.m. For the past 11 years this choir's service of traditional and contemporary carols is a much looked forward to event that sets the tone for the season.

The choir of over 50 will be under the choral direction of Mary Anne David who will have Kamalini Samarakoon and Edwin Mendez as accompanists. The Rev John Purves will lead the service. The freewill offerings made at these services are used for charities or outreach projects of the Kirk. Seating is limited.
