Thomian Colours Nite 2007

Five young sportsmen who represented the country while still in school will be honoured with the ‘Thomian Blue’ at the Thomian Colours Nite 2007 which will be held at the College Sports Complex on December 8th at 5 p.m.

This is the very first occasion that this honour has been vested upon five sportsmen in the same year. The five sportsmen come from three separate sports that they have indulged in. They are: Y.R. Ranasinghe –Badminton, E.M.K. Fernando – Swimming, S.Wijeyaratnam, D.C.De Silva and B.A.C.A. Perera --Water-polo. Besides the above mentioned -- sportsmen from fifteen other disciplines will also receive their colours.

Former College and Sri Lanka Cricket Captain Michael Tissera will be the chief guest at the occasion.
