Sixes champs to be felicitated

Sri Lanka’s six-a-side outfit which won the Hong Kong sixes tournament beating the All Stars team led by the Australian Legend Shane Warne will be felicitated by the SLC at its headquarters on Wednesday.

The Lankan squad led by Indika de Saram comprised Saman Jayantha, Kaushalya Weeraratne, Jeewantha Kulatunge, Amal Athulathmudali, Dilhara Lokuhettige and Anil Rideegammanagedera. For their effort they won a handsome package of US$ 10,000/-.

Beaides the above, the Lankan International hero’s Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, Chaminda Vaas and Kumar Sangakkara who had various individual achievements during the first Test match at Asgiriya, will be hosted by Sri Lanka Cricket at the end of the series.
