‘One World, One Music’

Children of Angulana Beach Community presented their talents through, music, the universal language, under the theme of "One World One Music", as a DVDs produced by the P.E.A.C.E. Campaign (Protecting Environment and Children Everywhere).

The 'Percussion Band' is a creation of those children and the instruments they use are all devised from their own ingenuity from 'throw away' materials.

The children sing in English as well as Sinhala and have been encouraged by their teachers. Music and Song is so much loved by the children and is also an aspect of trauma therapy, enabling them to cope with their lives.

"Children in difficult circumstances" are addressed in P.E.A.C.E. programmes devised for their empowerment. P.E.A.C.E. presenting this Song and Music production features young people from the Angulana Beach Community thanked the children for their enthusiasm and lively participation.
