Don Guy turns Simon

Don Eardley Nihal Ferdinando who is better known as Don Guy in the film, stage and tele fields, will launch his maiden VCD comprising his own tele series titled 'Don Simon' at a ceremony in Moratuwa on Sunday, December 16 at 4.00 pm. In a career spanning 40 years, Don Guy has performed a wide range of comedy roles in movies, teledramas and stage plays.

Dubbed 'Local Charlie' he is known for his ability to imitate world renowned legendary comedian Charlie Chaplin. When Charlie Chaplin's daughter Geraldine visited Sri lanka some years ago, to act in mother Theresa, Don Guy got the rare opportunity of meeting and performing before her.

Don Guy plays the role of Gamini in 'And Company' which is extremely popular among the small screen audiences. A large number of distinguished personalities will attend next Sunday's fun-filled event.
