Sri Lankan elected to Rotary International Board

K.R. Ravindran a member of the Rotary club of Colombo and CEO of Print care Plc, Sri Lanka’s largest printing and packaging group has been elected as the first ever Sri Lankan Director of Rotary International.

During his tenure as President of the Rotary Club of Colombo Mr. Ravindran established the Sri Lanka Anti Narcotics Association which continues to take awareness and prevention programs to schools and the general public to control and reduce incidents of drug and substance abuse.

He was also the Chairman of the Rotary project which made great strides in the tsunami rebuilding efforts which in partnership with Chartered Bank rebuilt 25 schools at a cost of US $ 12 million. Fourteen of these schools have been handed over to the Education Department.
