Highway to hell?

Some of the roads in Katana are in a shocking state though the Minister of Highways is from this electorate. Baseline Road has been in a dilapidated state for the past one year. It is regretted that nothing has been done to do up the surface by those responsible.

A culvert was repaired a few months ago, that was all. Thousands of people use this road as there are many factories in this area. Small cars cannot use this road as the potholes are so deep and the car hits the bottom. Many young women working in these factories in the area are seen cycling down this road risking their life and limb trying to avoid these potholes.

I hope the Minister will take necessary action against those responsible for not attending to these roads.
