The pack led by Asoka Jayasinghe supported by K. Bhaskaran, Fritz Perera, Asoka Warnasooriya, and Dr. Dilanjan Soysa convincingly won the team event sponsored by Multiform Chemicals Limited thereby entitling them to the coveted Multiform Trophy in two days played at the Bridge Federation Headquarters located at race Course.

The Runners up team captained by Anton Selvanayagam comprised of Rasika Karunathilaka, Dr. Asoka Thenuwara and Lucky Fernandez.
