‘Ahasin Wetunu Minussu’ at Tower Hall

The new production of R. R. Samarakoon’s award winning stage production, ‘Ahasin Wetunu Minussu’ will go on board at New Town Hall theatre, Colombo-7 on December 29 at 6.30 pm. The play won a number of awards including Best Production, Best Script, Best Actor and Actress and Best Supporting Actress at the State Drama Festival- 1971.

The new production is played by Ramya Wanigasekera, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Tilak Kumara Ratnayake, Wikrema Seneviratne and Ravindra Ariyaratne and is organized by the Shop Administrators and Examiners of the Veterinary Medical Department of the Colombo Municipal Council. Prasannajith Abeysuriya designed the costumes and stage setting and stage management is by Ravindra Ariyaratne. The show is organized by Jude Srimal.
