A Gospel Song CD by Gypsies

The very first album of Gospel Songs 'How Can I Thank You' by Gypsies was released last month. 'How Can I Thank You' ('Mage Adara Jesune') is an eighteen track CD of hymns of praise, thanksgiving and songs of blessings. 'This is our maiden Gospel Album and we dedicated this for the blessings for over 35 years of music. We have included some of the new songs as well as popular Sinhala and English hymns' said Sunil.

The CD comprises' Jesunee Samaye Kumaruni', 'Adara Mage Jesune', ' Ma Mawni', 'Namo Marianee', 'Jesu Rajaneni', 'Jeevana Jalaye', 'How can I thank You', 'Lord's Prayer', How Great Thou Jesus', 'Everything is Beautiful', 'Amazing Grace', 'I know who holds the Future', 'Power of Your Love', 'Precious Lord', 'Why me Lord', ' Hear us we pray Oh Lord', 'Jesus my friend' and 'Across the bridge'.

'How Can I Thank You' CD is a brain child of Piyal Perera. 'After two years of perseverance to make my dream of producing a Gospel CD, finally it is a reality. I would like to thank all the musicians and singers , who helped me in this project.

Singers Noeline, Mariazelle, Yasmin, Dalrene, Prashanthia and the Crowed, Antoinette, Shobi, Neville, Damien, Yohan and Honeriene, Ricky, Shenelle, Rukshan, Nalin, Desmond, Maxi, Natasha, Chandral, Sohan, Nimal, Prabath, Lanthra, Krishan, Ricky, Ishan, Ruwangi, Shenali, Rookantha, Chandralekha and Rhynie, Sajith and Gayan rendered their voices to this Gospel Album.

The song are penned by Chandradasa Fernando, Sunil and Piyal, while music directions were by Raj, Seneviratne, Sudu, Dennis, Asiri, Dilip, Rohan Mendis of Apple Green, Melanthe, Suresh, And Georgie, Mahinda Bandara, Sumith and Narmada. 'How Can I Thank You' album is now available at all leading music stores. The proceeds of the sales of this CD will be benefit charities.
