Apollo Hospital’s new health check schemes

Apollo Hospitals, Colombo said this week it is offering comprehensive Health Screening Programmes at its dedicated Health Check department.

“If you are over 30 and wish to have a Health Check you can choose from a range of programmes to suit or seek our advise on the most beneficial programme,” the hospital company said.

All of the schemes are primarily aimed at the early detection and prevention of illness. The range of Apollo health checks include :

- A physical examination and consultation with a General Physician and a surgeon or gynecologist
- Cardiologist and/or ENT specialist depending on your chosen programme
-Provide an opportunity to discuss medical issues or health concerns
-Extensive lab tests of preliminary investigations
-Consultation with dietitian
-A medical history report and lifestyle questionnaire
-Review test results with a consultant after 2 days
-Practical advice to help minimize health risks from a dietitian
-Complete personalized health report to take home
