Reserve money target for Dec. met

The Central Bank said this week that the targets set for 2007 in its Road Map were comfortably achieved.

The actual reserve money by end December 2007 was Rs. 264.5 billion as against a target of Rs. 267.6 billion.

The bank said it continued its tight monetary policy stance during the year employing a series of instruments aimed at achieving the target.
