Today on December 29, I participated in the Kids Klub Camp at Bolgoda. From the beginning (since I am a kid) I was very shy and very conscious about my posture and my appearance. So it was very hard for me to make new friends on my own. I think I had a temper which would go off when anyone does a wrong thing. I used to think about these at night everyday, but today I learned mainly two things, it is not the appearance of a person that really matters but the person who's inside you and the second one is how to control my temper. So I think that this kind of programme can help many kids in
Sri Lanka, especially teenagers, who stay in their shells, unable to communicate. Therefore with elders who really care for you and teach something from everything it is best if every kid can get an opportunity to participate in this kind of thing.

The Kids Klub was superb. We enjoyed it a lot, we had fun. We learnt how to work as a team. We met new friends from other races. Also it gave us a good knowledge in how to cooperate with each other and work in unity. We participated in a lot of games and I had a cool time. We can gain a lot of knowledge by participating in this kind of program and also be educated in different areas and get physical fitness as well as mental and social well-being.
