National HR conference in June

A range of eminent speakers, both local and overseas are expected to address the National HR Conference titled “People Drive Business” conducted by IPM Sri Lanka in June this year, IPM officials said.

“IPM is affiliated to the Asia-Pacific Federation of Human Resources Management and the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations. Also IPM is the Past President of the APFHRM and a former Board Member of the WFPMA. We count on their support to make this event a success,” said Lalith Wijetunge, President, IPM Sri Lanka C. Hewapattini, Chairman National HR Conference Committee, said this is a great learning opportunity for all those who are interested in managing people while there would be ample opportunities to interact with fellow HR professionals.

The conference will be held on June 2-3 and expected to attract over 600 delegates.The main speaker at the conference is Prof. Rob Goffee, Europe’s leading expert on organisational culture, leadership and change.

The key note address will be delivered by Geoff Armstrong, Director General, Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK.
