Khema Samaraweera’s funeral tomorrow

The funeral of Khema Samaraweera, the mother of MP Mangala Samaraweera will take place in Matara tomorrow.Mrs.Samaraweera (79), passed away at a private hospital in Colombo on Friday.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday paid his last respects to her. She was the wife of former Minister Mahanama Samaraweera and has also served as a member of the Matara Urban Council. She was on the staff of the Associated Newspapers Ltd. for several years.
