Lankan films in Vietnam

Three Sri Lankan films are being screened at the Sri Lankan Film Festival now being held in Vietnam. Jointly organized by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Vietnam, the National Film Corporation and the Ministry of Cultural, Sports and Tourism in Vietnam, the festival will be held at the Hanoi National Cinema in Vietnam.

Held between March 21-23, the festival included Sumithra Peries' ‘Sakman Maluwa’, Prasanna Vithanage's ‘Pawuru Walalu’ and Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne's ‘Uppalawanna’. All the films screened at the festival are being dubbed into the Vietnamese language.
