Suspend operating buses on Duplication Rd., remove barricades on Galle Rd.: CJ orders

Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva today ordered to suspend the new traffic arrangement of permitting buses to operate on Duplication road and to remove all barricades on the Galle road.

The Chief Justice observed that the people were inconvenienced by operating buses on the Duplication road. He said the barricades on the Galle road should be removed before January.

He also ordered the Municipal commissioner Badhrani Jayawardena to appear before courts to explain the parking arrangements in the Colombo city.
