Two children drown in Peliyagoda

Two children have drowned while bathing in the Kelani River near Kalupalama in Peliyagoda, police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said the children were two boys aged 11 and 14. The 14-year-old's body has been found, and search is on to recover the other, he said.

Peliyagoda Police are conducting the investigations.
