Kilinochchi GA's office shifted

The Government Agents office in Kilinochchi has been shifted to Kandavalai- 17 kilometres away from the present location - boardering the Mullaitivu district.

The new office will be operational from Monday, government sources said.

All valuable documents and records have already been taken for safety.

The move came as the air force on Wednesday took a series of targets in an around the Kilinochchi town.

Moves were also underway to shift the Kilinochchi hospital as well.
