SLAF Mi24 helicopters engage LTTE positions near Akkarayankulam

The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Mi24 attack helicopters engaged LTTE positions resisting adance of the Army's 57 devision today, SLAF Spokesman Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said.

This was carried out six kilometres North-East of the Akkarayankulam tank.
