No helicopter to transport body of Maj. Gen. Janaka Perera - Chief Opposition Whip

Chief Opposition Whip Joseph Michael Perera said in Parliament today that the Defence Ministry has not provided a helicopter to transport the bodies of Late Major General (Rtd) Janaka Perera and his late wife from Anuradhapura to Colombo.

Therefore, their bodies will be brought to Colombo by road, he said. .
