Colombo All Share hits 1900 for the second time in two days

The All Share Index in the Colombo stock market in early trade on Friday fell below the 2000 levels for the second time in two days with all the blue chips except SLT crashing, brokers said.

SLT saw a 50 cents rise to Rs 41.50. Stock analysts said this trend is likely to continue towards the market close today. The All Share Index lost 53.54 points to 1959.56 in early trade and Milanka saw a drop of 59.95 in the morning to 2171.98. The turnover was Rs 62 million.
