Teacher arrested with book-bomb

A 'book-bomb' was found in the possession of a school teacher in Bandarawela today, police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said the teacher had been working at a school in Bandarawela for 20 years. She is originally from Jaffna, he said.

The bomb had been made by cutting off a hole in the pages of a book and stuffing it with explosives, SSP Gunasekara said..
