LTTE cadres constructing bunds hit in air attack

A group of LTTE cadres constructing earth bunds using heavy machinery two kilometres south of Puthukudirippu this morning were engaged by Air Force jets causing heavy damages, Air Force spokesman Group Captain Janaka Nanayakara said.

It is believed several LTTE cadres were also killed in the attack.
