Colombo stocks to show positive trends

Colombo stocks after the indices fall last Friday started this week on a slightly active note, on Monday with brokers predicting this positive trend to continue .

“All blue chips except for about nine small cap shares saw favorable momentum, gaining in the morning,” a stock analyst said.

The All Share Index climbed 61.63 points to 1,981.88 while the Milanka advanced by 80.77 points to 2,206.17 points during early trade. The turnover was at Rs 39 million.
