'Sakvithi Ranasinghe's' lawyer surrenders to police

A key suspect in the 'Sakvithi Ranasinghe' scam where thousands who deposited theri money in a bogus finance company surrendered to the police today, Police spokesman SSP Ranjith Gunasekara said.

The suspect was identifed as Shermila Priyanka Fernando, an Attorney at law.

She was remanded until November 03.
