Colombo Stocks marginally up

Colombo Stocks showed some improvement at market close on Monday with indices marginally up.

Stock analysts said that investors were trying to re-enter the market after last week’s heavy fall of indices.

"Retailers were looking for opportunities in the discounted counters", Thakshila Hulangamuwa Vice President, Business Development , Asha Phillip securities said.

All share Index was up by 3.15 points to 1,787.09 at market close with Milanka up by 13.75 points to 2,002.94.

The turnover was at Rs. 149 million. .
