Colombo stocks falls after early gains

Colombo stocks fell for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday on similar bearish trends where gains in the morning were outweighed by falls at the close.

“There was improved turnover at Rs 203 million compared to the last three days, but it is doubtful whether it will sustain tomorrow,” a broker said. The All Share Index lost 5.74 points to 1,711.78 while the Milanka dipped by 13.34 points to 1,927.21 at the close..
