Troops reach Olumadu: Defence

Troops today afternoon reached Olumadu area, in the Mullaittivu district, a one time stronghold of the LTTE, the Defence Ministry said.

Olumadu is located 4Km northeast of Mankulam along the Mankulam - Mullaittivu (A-34) main road. .
