CIM Sri Lanka Region - Board and Management Committee 2008/2009

CIM Sri Lanka Region appointed its Regional Broad and Management committee for 2008/2009 at its 13th Annual General Meeting held recently. The incumbent Chairman and the Regional Board will continue to serve in the third successive year of their term.

The Regional Board comprises of the Chairman, Mr. Shiraz Latiff (Assistant Vice President - Service Quality, HSBC Electronic Data Processing Lanka (Pvt) Ltd), Senior Vice Chairperson, Ms. Roshani Cooray (Senior General Manager - Sales and Marketing of Lanka Bell (Pvt) Ltd), Vice Chairperson, Ms. Chitrangani Herat Gunaratne (Vice President, Quantum Strategic Services (Pvt) Ltd) Honorary Secretary, Mr. R. Wijenathan (Director / CEO of Millennium Development (Pvt) Ltd.) and Regional Treasurer, Ms. Nadi Dharmasiri (Asst. General Manager - Marketing, Asian Alliance Insurance PLC). Other members of the Regional Board are Head of Education, Mr. Ajith Medis (Senior Lecturer, University of Kelaniya), Head of Public Affairs and Communications, Mr. Amal Perera (Assistant General Manager - Marketing and Planning, Eagle Insurance PLC), Head of Corporate Integration and Market Interest Groups, Mr. Asanga Ranasinghe (Customer Development Director, Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd), Head of Membership, Mr. Shantha Katipearachchi (Senior Manager - Commercial Business Development, Union Assurance PLC) and Head of Knowledge Development Services, Mr. Dayan D. L. Fernando (CEO / President, Global Knowledge Consultants).

The appointments to the Regional Management Committee are Ms. Denise Abeyratne (Deputy General Manager, Ceylinco Homes International Ltd.), Ms. Shivonne Bambarandage (Trade Lane Manager - Asia Pacific, DHL Global Forwarding, Mr. Anuradha Edirisinghe (Trade Category Manager - Personal Care, Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd.),Mr. Brian Selvanayagam (Non-executive Director of On'ally Holdings PLC.), Mr. Ranesh Tirimanne (Managing Director, Wiveka Hospital Ltd.),and Ms. Varuni Van der Poorten (Coordinator - Brands, Dialog Mobile)
