Kandy overcome Air Force 27-6

Kandy SC overcame some resistance by the Airmen to score 27 points (2 goals, 2 tries, 1 penalty) to 6 (2 penalties) win at Nittawela. Kandy SC led 8-3 at lemons.

Kandy rested some of their regulars and that probably accounted for their statistical fall from grace. The Airmen also did some good spoiling work.

Kishore Johan, Sameera Silva, Krishantha Rajapakse and Dhanushka Pushpakumara touched down for the winners. Radika Hettiarachchi converted two tries. Roshan Hapugastenna put over the oenalties for the Air Force.
