There is interesting news for Sri Lankan students who seek admission to internationally reputed university degree programs. University admissions and scholarship interviews on Sunday 29th April will provide an opportunity to students and parents to discuss their university education options with a panel of international university directors.
University Degree Programs
There are hundreds of degree programs to select ranging from Business, IT/ Computing, Engineering, Medicine, Health Sciences, Psychology, Arts and many more. Admissions and Scholarship interviews are done for undergraduate (bachelors) degree programs by a group of leading international universities. There are excellent overseas study options for students with Sri Lankan or London (Edexcel and Cambridge) O/Level and A/Level qualifications. 2012 May / June London examination students are encouraged to apply with forecasted results while other students are requested to bring their original result sheets.
Degree completion in Sri Lanka – Merit based partial scholarship
There are a limited numbers of partial and full scholarships on offer from participating universities. Each partial scholrships are worth more than USD $ 4,700 (Rs.525,000) and are awarded based on the students merit and the financial needs of the family. All University scholarships are for students who want to complete their entire bachelor’s degree programs in Sri Lanka. Separate interviews are conducted for students who prefer to study at overseas universities (USA, Canada, UK, Australia and Malaysia).
Applicability Scholarship Program
In order to be eligible for the university scholarship award, students must submit a fully completed scholarship application form. Students and Parents can collect a printed scholarship pack by contacting Mr.Inthikab on 0777 570 498 or email scholarshiplk@yahoo.com. Interested students can collect the application packs on the day of the event and submit for review with supporting documentations.
Both Sri Lankan and London curriculum students are encouraged to apply. for Partial scholarship awards are decided based on (1) Financial need, (2) Academic ability, (3) The potential to succeed in the chosen career field. Certificates and reference letters will increase your chances of selection. Applicant submissions will be evaluated directly by university directors and selected students will be notified within a few days
