Buddhini fly high with ‘Ahas’
View(s):Popular author, journalist, dubbing artiste and scriptwriter Buddhini Jayawardane will be launching her newest novel ‘Ahas’ at the Library Services Board Auditorium in Colombo on Thursday, May 24 at 4 pm.
Buddhini wrote the tele drama script of Ahas and work on the tele drama started a few weeks ago and this is perhaps a rare occasion that the novel is launched after the tele drama has started based on it.
Multi-talented Buddhini who scripted and produced the tele drama ‘Me Mamai’ based on her first novel ‘sanda kinduri Mang’ was nominated in two categories at the recent Raigam awards.
She joined hands with popular actress Nuwani Walimuni to produce tele drama ‘Ahas’ which is to begin telecast soon.
Hiran Yattowita, Muthu Tharanga, Nilanthi Wijesinghe, Kingsley Los, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Richard Manamudali, Susantha Chandramali, Kavinga Perera , Soorya Dayaruwan, Anjali Liyanage, Shiromika Fernando, Lakshman Amarasekara,Ishan Mendis, Gayan Lakruwan and Pabasara Madhushani play the key roles in the tele drama directed by Sumendra Kithulgodage.
