J’pura University team emerges victorious at the 2019 International Conference on Social Robotics

A team from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura’s Faculty of Applied Sciences was selected as the Global finalist at the eleventh International Conference on Social Robotics this year. The undergraduates created a robotic hat inspired by the ‘Sorting Hat’ in the Harry Potter series.
The hat designed by the students can read minds and sort students into the different houses of the Hogwarts school of magic in the Harry Potter series
