‘Nari Bena’ and Jasaya and Lenchina back in theatre

Following nearly one year long closure of theatres some of the popular plays are now being performed back in theatres. The late Dayananda Gunawardena’s ever popular “Nari Bena” and “Jasaya Saha Lenchina” will go on the boards at 3.30 pm and 7 pm on April 9 at Lionel Wendt Theatre Colombo 7.
A number of popular artistes such as Rodney Warnakula, Bandula Wijeweera, Rathnashila Perera, Indika Jayasinghe, Nilmini Kottegoda, Sanjeewani Wijekoon and Sunil Thilakarathna will perform in the plays while musical compisions area by Lional Algama and Rohana Baddage.
Limited tickets are issued and the play will be presented following the health guidelines.
