Launch of FLP Core – The knowledge and skills of CIMA CGMA Professional Qualification without the exams
The event also witnessed the launch of the latest offering via CGMA FLP – the Skills Core Option, which was presented by the Regional Vice President – APAC, AICPA&CIMA APAC Mr. Venkkat Ramanan.
This is a pathway for those keen to have the knowledge provided within the CIMA qualification, but only consists of learning with an option to do exams later. This subscription model of FLP does not include the Case Study exams but includes Digital skills certificates and is meant for Students who wish to develop specific competencies. This is an ideal solution for organisations who need competency development solutions specially as a cross functional learning programme to raise commercial awareness for non-finance staff.
Typically, students have to complete examinations to get the CIMA CGMA Professional Qualification but through CGMA FLP Skills Core, they can get the knowledge and skills certification but not the qualification (for which they can sit for exams later if they wished to) and this is the newest trend in professional education.

These organisations support CIMA students and members, whilst offering various benefits to attract, develop and retain CIMA students and members into their respective organisations.
