View(s):The Galle District Literary Festival was held recently at the auditorium of the Galle District Secretariat. Galle District Secretary Shantha Weerasinghe was the chief guest.
Those who emerged victorious in the school and open categories at district level literary competitions received awards and certificates.
The keynote address was delivered by veteran author and lecturer Chulananda Samaranayake. Many segments presented by school students added colour to the festival. - Sirangika Lokukarawita
