Ahalya stamps her class NEGC Ladies’ Cup

Top class golfer, Ahalya Rajan was in sensational form when she accounted for the Ladies’ Captain’s Cup event with a Nett score of 73 points at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club’s Ladies Cup event which took place in Nuwara Eliya yesterday. Niloo Fernando emerged as the runner-up with a Nett score of 78 points.
The Monthly Medal too was worked off after a lapse of near two decades where Birg (rtd) Nanda Hathurusinghe, with a Nett score of 74, won the event. With a score of 85, Derrick Ponnambalam won the Gross event.
In the Ladies segment Ajalya Rajan won the Monthly Medal for the Ladies with a Nett score of 73 while Anouk Chitty won the Gross event with a score of 80 points. The event was sponsored by Wurth Lanka.
