Monash University Foundation Year – MUFY
UCL has star performers in its Monash Programme. Ranked 44th in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, Monash University is also a member of the prestigious Group of 8 Universities in Australia. Having reached global heights in terms of world ranking, the students who come under the aegis of the Monash University Foundation (MUFY) also emulate the quality and prestige from the exposure. After the Monash University Foundation Year, Students can progress to over 200 degrees at Monash University in Australia, Malaysia or any other Australian University.
Anjali Ranaweera, a head prefect of Lyceum International School and an allround sporting personality, who is currently studying Medicine at Monash University in Malaysia.
Chamath Gunawardana achieved the Highest Average in the MUFY programme at UCL and is now following the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine at Monash University, Malaysia.
Ravisha Wellappuli, who has won many Monash Global Awards of Excellence in MUFY, completed the MCD and became the Valedictorian at UCL and graduated from Monash University.

An avid Badminton player, guitarist, and chess player, he also has a passion for public speaking representing the CIPM Gavel Club. Young and ambitious with his sights set on being a CFO at a leading corporate in the ilk of Dialog Axiata or Virtusa, he envisions competing globally. “I will consider working in a global Finance Company one day”, he deliberates.

Students can start the Computer Science and Applied Computer Science Degrees, which are the only Canadian Degree programmes conducted in Sri Lanka on a 2+2 model in partnership with the prestigious Dalhousie University, a top ranked U15 research intensive university in Canada.
