‘Century Hitters’ Inter-Batch Cricket Tournament

The finals of the ‘Century Hitters’ Inter-Batch Cricket Tournament, organised by the Rotaract Club of the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM), played at the Kalapaluwawa Siddhartha Maha Vidyalaya grounds.
Team Red Wings emerged champions while Team F(X) became the runners-up as they faced each other in a tri-format final with Team Dare Devils. Kieth Perera was adjudged Man of the Match and the Best Bowler, while Jayali Vihara won the award for the Woman of the Match.
A total of 41 teams comprising undergraduates from all seven NIBM branches competed in the first leg of the tournament that was held at Shalika Grounds in Narahenpita. Various game stalls were organised by the club to raise funds for future community service projects during the first leg which was attended by an audience of more than 600. LOLC Holdings and E-Biz Consultancy Services were the sponsors of the tournament.
