Minod steers Nalanda to comfortable win
A match bag of nine wickets by Minod Caldera paved the way for Nalanda to record a comfortable 10-wicket win over Dharmaraja Kandy in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at Campbell Place yesterday.
St. Sebastian’s Moratuwa after conceding a first inning lead to Mahanama Colombo came back to record an outright win by two wickets in another match concluded at Moratuwa.
St. Joseph’s and Royal featured in a high scoring draw in the match which ended at Darley Road. The highlight of the match was an unbeaten double ton made by Hiran Jayasundara which came off 309 balls including 18 boundaries and three sixes.
