Gangaramaya Maha Perahera today and tomorrow

The Gangaramaya temple is to hold its 45th Nawam Maha Perahera today and tomorrow.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe and former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa are to deposit the casket with the sacred Relic on the ceremonial tusker today before the Perhera.
The final rituals of the perahera are to be held with the participation of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The perahera is scheduled to start from Park Road near the Gangaramaya temple and will move along Sri Jinarathana Mawatha, Hunupitiya Lake Road, W A D Ramanayake Mawatha, Sir James Peiris Mawatha, Navam Mawatha, Muttiah Road, Braybrooke Street, Sri Jinarathana Mawatha and Hunupitiya Cross Road before returning back to the temple.
