Shirantha Peries elected to ISSF Sustainability Committee

View(s): The President of National Shooting Sport Federation of Sri Lanka (NSSF), Shirantha Peries, has been elected to the Sustainability Committee of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF), which has a representation of by 165 countries. This is the first time in the history of Sri Lanka’s Olympic shooting that a Sri Lankan was elected in to the Sustainability Committee by the ISSF Council at its meeting held on January 24.
Under Shirantha Peries, shooting sports in Sri Lanka has flourished in quality and quantity. During his tenure, the NSSF was able to construct a brand new national shooting range that is accessible to shooters of all categories.
