Hoppers cookbook is out

Karan Gokani, co-founder of London’s Hoppers restaurants was in Colombo this week to launch his first ever cookbook ‘Hoppers-The Cookbook’ in the country that had inspired it.
The elegantly designed volume has already been launched in London in autumn 2022 and promptly made its way to the Best Food Books of 2022 lists of many prestigious newspapers in Britain, among them The Times, The Independent and The Telegraph. Much more than a collection of Hoppers’ signature dishes, it has recipes from friends, travel tips and anecdotes making it a complete celebration of the island’s cuisine.
At Jetwing Colombo 7, Jetwing Chairman Hiran Cooray hosted a drinks and canapes reception to introduce Karan and the book to guests.
