Royalists help out in Puttalam school
View(s):The batch of 2000 of Royal College Colombo took part in a project for the welfare of students of a school in Pallama, in the Puttalam District recently.
Former Royalists from various professions teamed up to help students of Kolaeliya Vidyalaya in Pallama. Doctors from the batch assisted in a medical clinic for the students as well as the parents and villagers.
Others distributed school items valued at Rs 4 million and handed over gifts to staff members.
Royal College principal R M M Ratnayake and Kolaeliya Vidyalya principal Mahinda Samarasinghe were present. Also present was the Deputy Director of Education (Puttalam District), Arjuana Abeysinghe.
