View(s):After almost two years of dormancy, the Cultural Affairs Organisation of the Katana Divisional Secretariat has been re-organized with the participation of approximately 50 artists who specialize in various fields. The executive President of the organization is now Mrs. Priyanka Kodithuwakku, the Divisional Secretariat, while other office bearers have been selected to help oversee the organization’s activities.
Richard Manamudali, a popular teledrama artist, has been named as the President of the organization. Mrs. Niroshima Bandara has been appointed as the Co-ordinator, with Mr. Dias Kiriaarachchi serving as the Honorary Secretary, and Mr. Sri Nalaka Chamonaka acting as the Honorary Treasurer. Mrs. Nilanthi de Silva has been appointed as Vice President, with Mrs. Kelum Shiromala serving as the Assistant Secretary. In addition, the organization has also selected ten committee members to help manage its affairs, including Kapila Jayasinghe, Janaki Hettiarachchi, C.K.P. Saman Fernando, Dulaj Michael, M.K. Upali Kirhsiri, S. Nevil de Silva, Thilak Gunathilaka, Ranjith Aththanayaka, Sujeewa Priyanath Wijesinghe, and Laksmi Bombuwala.
