HRM diplomates skilled future leaders: CIPM

CIPM, leader in HRM, shoulders task of developing motherland by guiding youth towards success, says Ken Vijayakumar, CIPM President.
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) conducted the certificate awarding ceremony of the Diploma in Professional Human Resource Management (DPHRM) on January 28. Addressing the diplomates, Mr Vijayakumar emphasised the importance of working with passion, commitment, curiosity, and courage to change the country’s demands at this challenging juncture. He assured that with enthusiasm for learning and the firm foundation laid at CIPM, the diplomates are earmarked for success in their future endeavours. Guest of honour, Mahendra Jayasekera, Managing Director of Lanka Tiles, Lanka Wall Tiles, and Swisstek (Ceylon), said that CIPM has successfully created HR professionals who are not confined to HR Management, but skilled future leaders capable of thriving in any sphere of the country as well as the world.
More than 700 diplomates were awarded certificates at the convocation held at CIPM Head Office in Colombo.
The event was graced by the presence of chief guests, Ken Vijayakumar, President CIPM, Priyantha Ranasinghe, Vice President CIPM, and guests of honour, Mahendra Jayasekera and Ranjith Kodituwakku, former CEO, People’s Bank. Office bearers and council members of CIPM, staff, and the diplomates’ parents were present.
