Universities have started registering new batches of students to ensure they could go ahead with academic activities without interruptions. A welcome ceremony and orientation programme of the Faculty of Engineering, Sri Jayewardenepura was held last week. Students are seen taking part in the orientation programme. Acting Vice Chancellor Prof S M C U P Subasinghe, Registrar Mr A B Weliwita, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr P M T Bandara, and other academic members of the faculty were present.
